For those who want to set up and install the software manually, the CD of Leonardo l'Inventore can be downloaded from archive.org, and the Windows 3.11 Retail Full Setup floppy disks are available from winworldpc.com.
How to run
With the prepackaged archive, simply extract the archive and load the .conf file with DOSBox to start Windows 3.11, with the encyclopedia already installed and ready to use.
With RetroArch, click Load Content and select the .conf file. Windows 3.11 will boot and bring you to the desktop. You should see the window for Leonardo l'Inventore. Start the software by clicking on Leonardo 2.
Tips
- The QuickTime version included on the CD does not work properly.
- Install QuickTime version 2.1.2 to ensure media plays correctly (the prepackaged version already has this version).
